Jocelyn Rose简介

    美国康奈尔大学生物技术研究所所长Jocelyn Rose教授多年来一直从事果实发育及成熟的相关研究,尤其在果实细胞壁的组成、结构、功能及代谢方面及它们在果实发育、成熟及与环境交互过程中的作用的研究上颇有建树。其很多项目涉及植物细胞壁作为营养、 生物材料和可再生能源的来源等高新技术领域研究。采用多种先进技术手段,从基因组、生化及分子生物学角度进行细胞壁在果实发育、抗病及植物逆境忍耐力的作用。其研究成果大多发表于国际知名期刊上,在果实发育相关领域具有很高国际知名度,而其本人也是植物学知名期刊Plant Physiology的责任编辑。
